SPOTLIGHT ON: The Prime Ministers’ recent trade mission to India.

In July 2025, the UK signed a UK-India trade deal lowering tariffs on key UK exports and strengthening links with one of the world’s fastest-growing economies, currently ranked fourth globally and expected to rise to third by 2028.

In October 2025, 125 UK CEOs, entrepreneurs, university Vice Chancellors and cultural leaders travelled with the Prime Minister on a two-day trade mission to Mumbai – including British brands like Rolls-Royce and BT.
